The crunch of a bread crumb in a salad cannot be replaced by the crunch of a slice of carrot. I can now have that ultimate topper to a salad filled with fresh organic vegetables. Do you have any simple salad dressing recipes? I hate the store bought, it always has something yucky in it. Guess I have to research french dressing recipes.... and a friend mentioned using croutons in summer squash casserole, and I can now make the best sausage stuffing you ever had, again! That would be good for a sunday dinner with a baked chicken. And hey, I happen to have pie in my freezer, for desert!!
